MontBlanc, owned by Swiss luxury goods behemoth Richemont, has announced that 2009 is its year of giving! The brand has and will continue to launch several initiatives to support various charities.

This Mother’s Day, MontBlanc has created a special “Precious Heart” necklace not only to honor mom, but also to support Jewelers for Children, a non-profit aiming to provide needed support for kids who have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect. The charity has raised 30M since 1999 as is the charity of choice for the jewelry industry – from retailers to manufacturers.

The limited edition, sterling silver necklace features a small diamond and classic design. Priced at just $400, with 10% of proceeds going to help kids in need, the necklace is an easy buy.
