<p>Woman in Uganda are being trained by CARE via a <a href="http://www.care.org/campaigns/accessafrica/index.asp" target="_blank">Village Savings and Loans Association</a> program where microfinancing is provided to the vanilla-bean farmers who are mostly female.  Hence, these women can take out loans to support their families&#8217; education and health care needs while ultimately striving to create sustainable practices within their communities.</p>
