Monroe-Rodeo Rose shoe, $595 - 15% goes to MUSC Children's Hospital

South Carolina fashion designer Mary Norton, whose bags and shoes have been picked up by Saks and Harrods, has created this romantic and fun Monroe-Rodeo Rose shoe. 15% of the sales are donated to the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Hospital.

Made in Italy, the Monroe-Rodeo Rose features pearlized leather and delicate organza roses. Right now, it is only available for pre-order through the website for August delivery.

Up-and-coming jewelry and evening handbag designer Amanda Pearl creates exquisite, one-of-a-kind handbags, necklaces, earrings and bracelets which have been featured in Gossip Girl, Elle and Town & Country. The collection only launched in February 08 and already has 13 POS locations in the US.

The “luxury evening accessories” line is inspired by the fashion and culture of the 50s and 60s . The style is described as “elegant yet refreshingly quirky.”

What makes the bags truly elegant though is the fact that through their “Bags in Action” program, Amanda Pearl actively donates her bags to auctions supporting causes that promote education, child welfare and/or the environment.

Some of the recent recipients include: Heifer.org, New Yorkers for Children, Books for Kids, Girls Inc., The First Tee and World Wildlife Fund. The company offers direct financial support to many of these charities as well.
